 Happiness is important for a long, healthy life and unfortunately, is lacking in our society.

Happiness has three elements:

  • Enjoyment (immediate gratification from doing something fun)

  • Satisfaction (from meeting a goal)

  • Purpose

The happiest people tend to:

  • Focus on the world outside of themselves (such as other people or the natural world)

  • Cultivate strong relationships

  • Have a strong purpose in their life
